Frequently Asked Questions

Can anybody use compression boots?

Our compression boots are designed for safe home use. However, we strongly advise consulting your doctor before use if you have any of the following conditions: acute pulmonary edema, acute thrombophlebitis, acute congestive cardiac failure, acute infections, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a history of pulmonary embolism, wounds or infections near the application site, conditions where increased venous or lymphatic return is contraindicated, or bone fractures or dislocations near the application site.

Can you use the compression boots while pregnant?

Pregnant individuals considering the use of our compression boots should consult with their healthcare provider. Professional medical advice is essential to determine the safety and appropriateness of this device during pregnancy.

What compression mode do you recommend?

To optimise blood flow, we suggest using Compression Mode 2. This mode utilises sequential compression, a technique shown by research to be highly effective.

Why is there no size selection for the compression boots?

Our compression boots, measuring 100 cm in length and 75 cm in width, are designed for universal fit. The inclusion of a chamber deactivation function enables users of smaller stature or youth athletes to tailor the fit by deactivating the top chamber, providing enhanced comfort. This feature streamlines the fitting process and allows for shared use.
